Started back in 1919, Proos Manufacturing has been in business
for over 85 years. We have come a long ways from our
beginning days as a manufacturer of casket hardware and then a
tool and die shop. Today we are an ISO-certified manufacturer,
creating sophisticated metal stamping products, welded assemblies,
custom electrical products and downtrollers.
Still family
owned and operated, our current management team involves four
generations of Proos. Jack Proos, the son of the original
owner, is our current President. Larry Engelsman serves as our Vice
President. Currently we have 80+ employees that work across two
product divisions: automotive and electrical solutions.
We
specialize in prototypes and quick, small manufacturing runs and own
several state of the art presses that can meet practically any metal
stamping need. Our motto at Proos is that "no volume is too small".
But don’t let that sway you too much -- we are more than capable
(and willing) to take on your high-volume production
requirements.
